Teacher and Staff Appreciation Week is May 2-6. Show all your teachers and the staff at Trace Crossings Elementary how much you appreciate all they do for you with notes, treats, flowers or something for their classroom. And to make things even easier, you can check our teacher list for suggestions of favorite snacks, flowers, and their classroom wish list.
More Information on how to celebrate our amazing teachers coming soon.
The Dance Fit celebration was so much fun last week! We met our fundraising goal while having fun, earning prizes, and learning about teamwork, caring, courage, and grit. Both in-person and virtual students got to participate in the fun. THANK YOU for all you do to support Trace Crossings Elementary throughout the year!
Don’t forget you can still get donations in THIS WEEK. Check with your employer and see if they will match your donation!
Next, Mr. Collins and Mrs. Edwards will face off in an epic battle – playing a game of basketball… dressed as chickens. YOU DO NOT WANT TO MISS IT! Stay tuned!
We have a new date for our Booster Dance Fit Fundraiser! We are moving the kickoff to September 22. The new date for the DANCE FIT event will be October 1-2.
We are so thrilled that families have already started supporting our fundraiser! You can still register your student on funrun.com and begin reaching out to family and friends even before the kick-off.
Registration is now open on FUNRUN.COM for our Dance Fit fundraiser! We are kicking off the fun next week, but you can get started on your pledges now. Register your children at FUNRUN.COM, make pledges, or share your pledge link on social media or in email with friends & family.
Trace Crossings families, we are kicking off our school year with a fun event! This year, instead of a Fun Run, we are having a high energy fundraiser called Trace Crossings Dance Fit!
Trace Crossings Dance Fit will kick off on September 22th. Our goal starting off is to raise $12,000. This year, fundraising is more critical than ever to provide learning resources and fund our school budget.
And if we reach our goal, Mr. Collins and Mrs. Edwards will compete in a basketball game dressed as chickens. We must make this happen!
Just like last year, we’ve asked our friends at Booster to power our fundraiser to make it more profitable, fun, and easy for everyone. And we have worked closely together to ensure this event follows the safety and health guidelines of our school.
And just what is this fundraiser? First, register your students on funrun.com. It takes about 30 seconds – it’s quick and easy. Then, share the donation link with friends and family to gather donations or sponsors for your students. The 2-week event kicks off on Tuesday, September 22. The kids will learn character lessons from fun videos, get fired up about Dance Fit, and be given some daily or weekend challenges to raise more funds and win prizes. Then on October 1, we will DANCE! (watch for more details)
Even with Virtual Learning, all students will get to experience the entirety of this fundraising and character development program!
If your family feels it’s not in the position to financially support the school, that’s ok. Families can actually support our school by also SHARING our fundraiser with friends and family online. Sharing IS supporting.
And to add to the fun this year, we are having a DANCE CHALLENGE! Make a 15 second dance video – it can be a solo or a group, freestyle or choreographed. Just choose appropriate music and moves, make the video horizontal (landscape), and email it to us at email@example.com! You might be featured on our social media!
